Furever offers pet aquamation, a peaceful, water-based alternative to cremation, with memorial keepsakes to keep your companion close.

A gentle farewell for the pets who gave us everything.

Caring for them, one last time

Caring for them, one last time.

Aquamation uses warm water and gentle motion to return your pet’s body to nature, the same process that happens naturally over time, carried out in a clean, controlled setting over about 20 hours. There’s no flame and no smoke, and the process uses less water than a typical household uses in a day. What remains is a soft, light-coloured ash that comes back to you just as it would after cremation.

At Furever, we believe pets are family, and they deserve to be cared for that way until the very end. We chose aquamation because it offers a calm, natural alternative to traditional cremation that’s kinder to the planet and gentle to the ones we love.

Our story

Services

Two aquamation options and a range of memorial keepsakes, so you can choose the farewell that feels right for you and your pet.

Our Services

Your pet is cared for individually, and their ashes are returned to you in a custom engraved urn. This option is for families who want to keep their companion close at home or carry them in a keepsake.

Private Aquamation

Ashes are not returned. Instead, your pet is respectfully scattered in a serene forest setting as a final, peaceful return to nature.

Basic Aquamation

Hold on to the little details with a keepsake made to honour your pet, from memorial necklaces that carry a small portion of ashes to engraved urns and clay pawprints framed beside a favourite photo.

Yes. In both cases, the remains are the calcium phosphate minerals of the bones.

Are aquamation ashes the same as cremation ashes?

Very little. The entire process, including rinsing, uses less water than an average household uses in a day.

How much water does it use?

The aquamation process itself takes about 20 hours, followed by several days of drying before the remains are ready.

How long does it take?
